PSL 2023: Floodlight catches fire during PSL match. Pakistan Super League 2023 (PSL 8) began on February 13, 2023 with a spectacular opening ceremony in Multan.

The match was delayed by 30 minutes after a floodlight tower at the stadium caught fire due to fireworks at the end of the PSL opening ceremony. However, there was no news of an injury to anyone in this arson.
Fans were also treated to performances by renowned music composer Sahir Ali Bagga and talented singer Aima Baig.

Twitter was flooded with videos and pictures of the floodlight fire and reports suggested that any danger was averting as fire brigade teams doused the flames and brought the situation under control.
The winner will not only lift the Supernova trophy but also a check for PKR 120 million, while the runner-up will get a check for PKR 48 million.

Before the toss, there were horrifying images as the fire department swiftly arriving to douse the blaze. No case of harm to anyone has been registering as a result of the incident.
