Rahul Dravid’s big statement: Suryakumar Yadav is learning ODIs before the third ODI, Team India will play its last ODI against Australia on Wednesday.

Yadav will get a place in the third ODI:-

Before this match is held in Chennai, everyone’s eyes are on whether star batsman Suryakumar Yadav, who has flopped in two matches, will get a place in the third ODI.

Team India coach Rahul Dravid has given a big statement regarding the form of Suryakumar Yadav. Ahead of the third match, Dravid allayed concerns about Surya’s recent form.

He said that Suryakumar is still adjusting to the pace of 50-over cricket. He will get better with experience.

‘I am not too worried about Suryakumar’:-

Dravid said- I am not much worried about Suryakumar. He lost his wicket against two good balls. One thing about Surya is that he is learning a bit about the 50-over game.

The T20 game is a bit different. Dravid further said- Even though he did not play for India for a long time, he played IPL for almost ten years in T20 cricket.

It’s like international cricket. He has played a lot of cricket. Also played high-pressure T20 matches but in ODI cricket there is no equivalent tournament in domestic cricket, you have to play Vijay Hazare Trophy and all that.

Even though he has played a lot of T20 cricket, I think he has not played a lot of ODI cricket.

We just need to give it some time and be patient. We will definitely see a good performance from him which is great for the team.

Rahul will Try Different combinations:-

Dravid suggested that the team management try different combinations during the World Cup in October-November as well. Wednesday is likely to be spin-friendly in Chennai.

India has Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Washington Sundar.

Dravid said- We have a few different combinations among 15 or 16 players that we want to try and see which one works. World Cup is a big tournament.
