The Pakistan Cricket Board has been called off after veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik was not selected for the team for the T20 World Cup 2022 to be held in Australia. It faced a lot of criticism.

Now PCB Chairman Rameez Raja has given a big statement on this matter.
Actually, Shoaib Malik, the experienced all-rounder of the Pakistan team was not selecting for the T20 World Cup 2022. After this, many former players raised questions on the team selection, but now Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Rameez Raja has broken his silence on this issue.
Rameez Raja said – We do not have many options:-
Let us tell you that the President of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Rameez Raja has defended the Pakistan team and selectors.
In fact, he said this on a Pakistani channel, ‘Pakistan experimented last year by adding experience to the middle order. There is no problem in doing it again, we don’t have too many options.
The Pakistan Cricket Board is continuously working at the junior level to increase its talent pool. Due to which new players are being trying out.
Significantly, the Pakistan Cricket Board was criticizing for not selecting Shoaib Malik. For the Pakistan team for the T20 World Cup 2022.
PCB President Rameez Raja gave this big statement saying, ‘There is no Lionel Messi sitting in our bench.
Rameez Raja, President of Pakistan Cricket Board says, ‘I have no problem. My philosophy of a good team is that there needs to be consistency in selection.

Also, you should strengthen the captain. With no Lionel Messi sitting on our bench. Our options are limiting.
That said, a lot of work is being done above the junior level to expand the options. And increase the talent pool.
The Pakistan cricket team is currently playing a tri-series in New Zealand. In the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022. The Pakistan team will play against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 23 October.
But the middle-order batting problem still persists for the team led by Babar Azam.

In the middle order, Pakistan has many less experienced players like Shan Masood, Mohammad Nawaz, Iftikhar Ahmed, etc.
