Ranji Trophy Semifinal: Yashasvi’s century helped Mumbai’s innings, Yash Dhull and Karan Sharma took 2-2 wickets

Ranji Trophy Semifinal: Left-handed batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed a scintillating century to take the team out of trouble on the first day of the semi-final against UP after 41-time champions Mumbai’s top-order failed in Ranji Trophy.

Yashasvi Jaiswal handled the innings of Mumbai :-

Yashasvi Jaiswal also hit 15 fours to make 100 runs in 225 balls. By the end of the day’s play, Mumbai had scored 260 runs for five wickets. Hardik Tamore (51 *) and Shams Mulani (10 *) are present at the crease.

Ranji Trophy Semifinal: Captain Prithvi Shaw sent to the pavilion without opening the account :-

The decision to field after winning the toss proved to right for UP, when Yash (2/35) sent captain Prithvi to the pavilion in the first over by getting caught without opening an account. After this, Shivam got Armaan (10) leg before and gave the team the second success. From here Yashasvi made a half-century partnership for the third wicket with Suved (32).

Sarfaraz played a good innings :-

Yash got Suved caught out by Saurabh. After this, Sarfaraz (40) shared an 83-run partnership for the fourth wicket. After Sarfaraz’s dismissal, he shared a 63-run partnership with Hardik for the fifth wicket. Yashasvi Jaiswal given a big breakthrough by Karan Sharma (2/39).

Himanshu of Madhya Pradesh scored the first century of the first class
Opener batsman Himanshu Mantri scored a brilliant unbeaten 134 as Madhya Pradesh made 271 for 6 after early setbacks in the semi-final against Bengal. Puneet (6*) is with him at the crease.

Ranji Trophy Semifinal: Himanshu scored his first first-class century :-

Left-handed batsman Himanshu scored his first century of first-class cricket. In the team, Akshat Raghuvanshi scored a half-century of 63 runs and shared a crucial 123-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Himanshu. Mukesh and Akashdeep took 2-2 wickets for Bengal.
