Anil Kumble is the first Indian and overall second bowler to take the most wickets in the Border Gavaskar Trophy.

Ashwin comes after Anil Kumble, who has just taken 107 Test wickets against Australia.

Anil Kumble took 111 wickets in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Ashwin is playing now, if he takes 5 wickets in the 4th Test then Anil Kumble’s record will be broken.

Ashwin can become the highest wicket-taker in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The first number in this list is Nathan Lyon, who has 113 wickets in his name.
