IND vs ENG Test Series 2024: Indiaβs star spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has made a great record against Englandβs Test captain Ben Stokes. In the second innings of the Hyderabad Test, Ashwin bowled out Stokes with one of his brilliant balls.
Ashwin dismissed Stokes for the 12th time in a Test cricket innings. With this, Stokes also became the batsman most often dismissed against Ashwin.

Ashwin Near 500 Wickets:-
Before the Hyderabad Test, Ravichandran Ashwin had taken 490 Test wickets. After that, he got three wickets in the first innings of this match. Then he took his 495th Test wicket by dismissing Stokes in the second innings.
With this, he came closer to the magical figure of 500. If Ashwin accomplishes this feat, he will become the second Indian after Anil Kumble to do so.

Indiaβs Strong Hold:-
The England team had lost all 10 wickets after scoring 246 runs in the first innings. In reply, Team India had scored 436 runs.
India had a lead of 190 runs based on the score of the first innings. For the time being, England has avoided defeat in the innings by leaving behind the lead on the score of the first innings.
But Team India still has a strong hold. Whatever runs England scores from here, Team India will have to chase in the fourth innings.
