This event of the Rajasthan Royals team took place on 29 May (Sunday) in Ahmedabad (Ahmedabad) after the conclusion of the final (GT vs RR Final) of the Indian Premier League.

Jos Buttler was a retained player of Rajasthan Royals and Ashwin was bought by the franchise during the IPL 2022 mega auction.

The right-handed batsman had a stellar season as he clinched the Orange Cap by scoring 863 runs at an average of 57.33 and a strike rate of 149.05.

Royals off-spinner Ashwin took 12 wickets:-

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals off-spinner Ashwin took 12 wickets and scored 191 runs.

Before the tournament, cricket fans wanted to see Butler and Ashwin play for Rajasthan Royals.

Notably, the off-spinner had run out Butler at the non-striker’s end during the IPL 2019 edition.

However, both the professional cricketers feel that a close bond has developed between the two throughout IPL 2022.
