But he is currently preparing to return to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore. The BCCI has selected him for the home series against Australia (IND vs AUS Test 2023).
But before this important series, Jadeja will be seen playing for the Saurashtra team in the Ranji Trophy.
Let us tell you that the NCA has declared Jadeja completely fit and only after that the selectors have selected him for the Test series against Australia.
Jadeja has started his bowling and batting this week. However, he will have to pass a fitness test before returning to the field.

Jadeja will be seen playing in the Ranji Trophy before the Test series from Australia. However, the selectors along with the team management and NCA decided that Jadeja should play Ranji Trophy before the Test series against Australia.
However, this has been done in the interest of Faista Jadeja as he has not played any cricket since September last year. Jadeja should return to the field as soon as possible, that is why the team management has asked him to play in Ranji.
Significantly, Ravindra Jadeja will be seen playing for the Saurashtra team in the quarter-finals of the Ranji Trophy 2022-23.
Having Jadeja in the playing XI of the team will boost the team’s morale further. The match between Saurashtra and Tamil Nadu will begin on January 24 in Chennai. In this match, Jadeja can return to the field with a great performance.
