Rishabh Health Update: Rishabh Pant is recovering fast and was spotted at Mumbai airport without crutches. Team India’s star wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is seen recovering fast after a serious injury.

Pant was a victim of a car accident in December:-

On December 2022 last year, Pant had become a victim of a car accident, after which he had to stay away from the field for a long time.

But he has already missed IPL 2023 and is now going to miss World Test Championship, ODI World Cup, and Asia Cup 2023.

Recently the star cricketer has been spotted at the Mumbai airport, where he is seen walking on his feet. His video is becoming quite viral on social media.

He injured all three of his ligaments:-

Pant’s return as wicketkeeper is uncertain given the extent of his injuries. He injured all three of his ligaments and will need to build up strength to resume wicket-keeping.

Rishabh will have to remain in a sitting position for long periods of time. Hence, it is going to take more time to make a comeback as a keeper-batsman.

A comeback as a pure batsman is also currently being considered, with Pant being considered an asset.

“We certainly expect Rishabh to return to competitive cricket by the end of the year. But given his injury, it is definitely doubtful.

How will his knee be if he resumes full training?

In fact, it is difficult to even give a timeline as we do not yet know how his knee will be when he resumes full training. That’s why we have to adopt the method of wait and see.

Meanwhile, the BCCI has extended all possible help to Pant to give his best as soon as possible. His recovery is believed to be faster than expected but it will still take him 7-8 months to be match fit.
