His further treatment will be in Mumbai. The source associated with the BCCI has said in the information given that if needed, he will be sent abroad as well.

A BCCI source told Times of India – Pant’s family and the doctors treating him in Dehradun have been convinced that BCCI doctors will look after the cricketer’s ligament.

BCCI will be in Mumbai under the supervision of doctors:-

Pant is currently under observation and will be discharging after the completion of its term. After this, his further treatment will be in Mumbai under the supervision of BCCI doctors. After seeing the doctors, they will discuss further treatment, and if needed, they will also be sent abroad.

The report of his brain and spinal cord MRI (Rishabh Pant MRI) scan has come normal. That is, he does not have any kind of problem in the brain and spinal cord.

MRI of Pant’s knee is yet to be done:-

Due to pain and swelling, an MRI scan of Pant’s ankle and knee has been postponed by a day. The doctors who are treating Pant at Max Hospital in Dehradun.

They suspect that the wicketkeeper has a ligament injury in his right knee. That’s why splinting has been done above the knee.

At the same time, there is a possibility of a ligament injury in his right ankle. As of now, Pant’s condition is stable, he is conscious and talking.

Modi wished for a speedy recovery: PM Modi spoke to Rishabh Pant’s mother and inquired about his health. Whereas earlier after the accident, PM Modi wished good health to the Indian batsman and tweeted, “Distressed by the accident of famous cricketer Rishabh Pant. I pray for his good health and well-being.
