RR vs GT: Young bowler who was nervous before making his debut, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been a great platform for young talent to become better players.

The pacer belongs to Kuldeep Sen, who made headlines when he played for Rajasthan Royals (RR) against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 20th match of this season. He defended 15 runs in the last over to help Rajasthan win.

The Believed in Me after bowling the first ball:-

In an interview posted on the official website of Rajasthan, Sen gave his opinion on debuting in the tournament.

He said that he wanted the team to bowl first so that they could get early opportunities and then release their pressure in front of huge crowds.

He told that as soon as he bowled the first ball, he felt confident in his abilities.

The Never Played in front of such a crowd:-

Sen said, “Ever since I got to know that I was going to make my debut, I was nervous. I spent most of my time in my room listening to songs and being alone.

On match day I was excited and nervous at the same time from boarding the team bus to reaching the stadium.” Sen added, “I was hoping we would get an opportunity to bowl first so that I could start bowling immediately I can I had never played in front of such a huge crowd.

Yuzvendra Chahal bhai came to me and asked me what was my plan. I told him that I would know only after bowling the first ball. And once I did, all the nervousness went away and I started feeling confident.”

The Advice from Bolt and Malinga:-

Asked about learning new skills from Lasith Malinga, the second-highest wicket-taker in the IPL, Kuldeep Sen said he is working under his guidance to improve yorkers and slow pace.

He further said that the presence of players like Trent Boult and Malinga in the team is helping him learn how to bowl in different match conditions.

Sen said, “Malinga makes things easy for me and tells me to use my strength instead of focusing on my weakness. I am working on improving my yorkers and slow yorkers.

When we are practicing, I keep asking Trent Boult and Malinga sir how they will bowl in certain situations.

Then I imagine myself in the same situation and think about what I can do.

Having such experienced professionals in the coaching setup helps a lot. Every day is full of learning for me.”
