RR vs LSG: For the first time in the history of IPL, a batsman retired without injury, Rajasthan Royals, and Lucknow Super Giants face off in the second match of the doubleheader on Sunday.
This 20th Competition at Wankhede Stadium:-
This 20th tournament of IPL is being played at Wankhede Stadium. Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Batting first, Rajasthan scored 165 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. In this match, Rajasthan batsman R Ashwin retired without injury.
IPL 2022: A strange sight was seen in the competition. R Ashwin suddenly left the field while batting.
During this, the umpire also tried to stop him but Ashwin stayed straight in the dugout.
Ashwin Declares himself Retired Out:-
In fact, Ashwin, taking a decision in the interest of the team, declared himself retired so that the batsmen coming forward could score runs faster. Ashwin was not able to hit too big shots. All this happened in the 19th over.
RR vs LSG: Ashwin decides to retire himself after the second ball of the 19th over. After this, Riyan Parag came to the field to bat in his place.
Ashwin is the first player in the history of IPL to retire and the fourth player overall in T20Is. According to ICC rules, a batsman can be ‘retired out’ during a T20 match.
The umpire must state the reason for his retirement. A batsman may retire at any time during his innings when no run has been scored on the ball. This is stated in ICC Law 25.4.1.
