South African opener Reeza Hendricks has become the sixth batsman to score 4 consecutive half-centuries in T20Is after scoring 74 runs against Ireland. Hendrix scored 74 off 53 balls in the first match of the two-match T20I series against Ireland. South Africa set a target of 211 runs in front of Ireland, thanks to this brilliant half-century from Hendrix. Earlier in the T20I series against England, Hendricks scored 57,54 and 70 runs in the 3-match T20I series.

Chasing the target of 211 runs, Ireland’s team could only score 190 runs in 20 overs. South Africa took a 1-0 lead in the series with a 21-run win in the first match. The 2nd and last match of the series will be played on Friday, August 5.
