The Sri Lanka faces in The First Test:-

Indian superstar Virat Kohli is all set to write his name in the elite list as he soon becomes the 12th Indian player to play 100 Test matches with the team to face Sri Lanka in the upcoming first Test at the PCA Stadium.

Kohli made his debut in Test cricket in 2011 and since then he has never looked back.

The Delhi-born captain captained India from 2014 to 2021 and scored 8000 runs in 99 Test matches at an average of 50.39 with 27 centuries and 28 half-centuries.

As the former India captain prepares to enter the exclusive club, legendary cricketer and Kohli idol Sachin Tendulkar shared a heartwarming message for the 33-year-old.

The India U19 Guide in Malaysia:-

Tendulkar recalled the time when he first heard of Kohli when the latter was guiding India U19 in Malaysia. The Mumbaikar revealed that some players from the national team, who were on Australia tour at that time, we’re talking about Kohli.

“I remember the first time I heard about you was when we were in Australia in 2007 (2008). You guys were playing the Under-19 World Cup in Malaysia. Then there were some players in the team who were talking about you.

Tendulkar admitted that he did not play enough with Kohli but was impressed by Kohli’s ability to learn things quickly.
