Sandeep Lamichhane Rape case: Nepal cricket team player Sandeep Lamichhane got relief from the court after 3 months. He has got bail. His lawyer has demanded that the cricketer be handed over the reins of the team.

The National Cricket Body of Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) says that it has started consultations regarding the reinstatement of Sandeep Lamichhane, the former captain of the national team accused of rape.

Can’s acting secretary Prashant (Prashant Bikram Malla) said-

Currently consulting legal experts on this issue. We will also consult the International Cricket Council regarding their international practice. After Sandeep, the former captain of the team (Nepal Cricket Team), got bail, his lawyer Saroj Krishna demanded that he be made the captain back.
