Shamar Joseph Created History By Taking A Wicket On The First Ball Of His Career

WI vs AUS Test Series 2024: Shamar Joseph created history by taking a wicket on the first ball of his career. West Indies bowler Shamar Joseph made his international debut today.

Joseph Has Become The Second West Indies Player:-

He dismissed Steve Smith on the very first ball of his debut Test against Australia, which was a historic wicket. Joseph has become the second West Indies player to take a wicket on the first ball of his Test career.

Australia’s innings were started by Steve Smith and Usman Khawaja, after Warner’s retirement, Smith replaced him as the opening batsman.

He Took A Big Wicket in The Form Of Steve Smith On The Very First Ball:-

The ninth over was bowled by Shamar Joseph, which was the first over of his international career. On his very first ball, he took a big wicket in the form of Steve Smith. Smith was caught by Justin Greaves in the slips.

Shamar Joseph is the 23rd bowler in the world to take a wicket on the first ball of his Test career. Tyrrell Johnson was the only West Indian bowler before Joseph.

In the first Test being played at Adelaide Oval, Australia won the toss and decided to bowl first.
