Shane Watson And AB de Villiers Recall Facing Shoaib Akhtar

Former Australia all-rounder Shane Watson and former South African captain AB de Villiers have recalled facing the world’s fastest pacer Shoaib Akhtar.

Shoaib Akhtar shared a video:-

Cricket Australia (CA) had shared a video of Shoaib Akhtar celebrating the 20th anniversary of becoming the first speedster to hit 100 mph. He bowled fast to Craig McMillan in an ODI at Lahore on 27 April 2002.

In a video, Shoaib Akhtar bowls a sharp bouncer to Shane Watson in an ODI in 2002. Watson responded to CA’s tweet praising Akhtar.

Sharing his Opinion Revealed:-

“What a way to celebrate my 21st birthday!! , Shoaib Akhtar was so nice and so bloody fast!”

AB de Villiers also shared his opinion and revealed that he still gets nightmares.

The fastest fast bowler in the world ever:-

It should be noted that Akhtar was fondly called the ‘Rawalpindi Express’ and was the fastest fast bowler the world has ever produced. He ran 100 mph twice in his career.
