Chanderpaul said after his appointment

“I am excited to be appointed as the head coach of the USA women’s national team and the women’s under-19 team. The women’s sport is something I am a huge supporter of, and I will eagerly follow the progress of the USA women’s national team

This opportunity to become the head coach for USA Cricket is incredible. My recent coaching experience will help women’s teams advance to the World Cup in the years to come, especially the inaugural Under 19 Cricket World Cup in January.
