The pair of Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna reached the mixed doubles final of Australian Open. The Brazilian pair won the title by defeating the pair of Rohan and Sania in 2-0 sets.
Sania Mirza had already announced her retirement before this tournament. Sania said in the final speech – My professional career started in Melbourne itself, I cannot think of a better end to my Grand Slam career.
