Shoriful Islam has been Included in Bangladesh’s Squad For The Second Test

Bangladesh’s left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam has been Included in Bangladesh’s squad for the second Test.

The BCB’s Press release said:-

A Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) press release said that he will leave for St Lucia tonight.

Shoriful’s finger was hurting by Kasun Rajitha in the first Test against Sri Lanka in Chattogram last month, leaving him out for the entire series.

Shoreful’s little finger is fracturing:-

It was confirming that Shoriful had a fracture in his little finger. And the fast bowler was ruling out for five weeks.

“I am going to the airport now. I will be flying to the West Indies tonight at 7:30 pm. And I am really looking forward to being back on the Test team,” Shoriful told The Business Standard (TBS).

The Fast bowler Taskin Ahmed:-

Bangladesh was alreading without their fast bowler Taskin Ahmed. Shoriful’s injury forced BCB to bring back Mustafizur Rahman to the Test squad.

The 21-year-old has played four Tests for Bangladesh since making his debut in April 2021.

Bangladesh trail the series 0-1 after losing the first Test in Antigua by 7 wickets, with the second Test starting on June 24.
