Asian Champions Trophy 2023: Shubman Gill and Arshdeep sent a special message to the Indian hockey team from America. India’s rising cricket stars Gill and Arshdeep have extended their heartiest congratulations to the Indian men’s hockey team on their historic win in the Asian Champions Trophy 2023.

Best wishes to the Indian hockey team:-

BCCI posted a video of Gill and Arshdeep and captioned it as “Asia Champions Trophy 2023 Gold, a special message to wish the Indian Hockey Team.”

Indian hockey team registers historic win:-

On August 12, 2023, The Indian men’s hockey team created history by clinching their fourth Asian Champions Trophy title at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium in Chennai.

In the final match, Malaysia started the game aggressively and scored three goals to India’s one goal till the interval.

However, the Indian team did not give up and put up a strong performance in the second half. Due to the courage of the team, the match went on till the last quarter and in the end, Harmanpreet Singh’s team won 4-3.

India became the most successful team:-

With this win, India has become the most successful team in the Asian Champions Trophy. This was India’s fourth title.

Earlier the team had won in 2011 and 2016. Also shared the title with Pakistan in 2018.

In such a situation, before this season, India and Pakistan were on par with three titles each. But with this victory, Team India has strengthened its hold.
