Former Australian all-rounder Simon O’Donnell has asked the ICC to take action against India regarding the change in the Nagpur pitch. O’Donnell told Sen Breakfast that “the ICC should step in and step in.” If they feel that it is not right or the pitch is not right, then in the first Test an ICC referee has to come and the ICC themselves look at the match. However, whenever it comes to India, there is a lot of talk about it”.

He further added that “We have all kinds of discussions and nothing seems to happen. If they think that there is a pitch here that is not according to the requirements of Test cricket, then the ICC should come forward and they also need to do something about it.

Indian team needs a turning pitch
