SL vs PAK, 2nd Test: Before the second test against Sri Lanka, the Pakistan cricket team has suffered a major setback. Team’s star bowler Shaheen Afridi has been ruled out of the upcoming Test in Galle due to injury.

SL vs PAK: Shaheen Afridi out of the match due to knee injury :-

The visiting team is leading 1-0 in this two-match Test series. Shaheen Afridi has been ruled out of the second Test against Sri Lanka due to a knee injury. Afridi was injured on the fourth day of the first Test on Tuesday, due to which he bowled only 7 overs.

SL vs PAK: Pakistan Cricket Board gave this information on Thursday :-

The Pakistan Cricket Board said on Thursday that he would remain with the team in Sri Lanka and undergo rehabilitation. Pakistan won the first Test by four wickets in which Afridi took four wickets. The second Test will start on Sunday.

Bumrah breathed a sigh of relief due to Afridi’s injury :-

SL vs PAK: Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah must have breathed a sigh of relief with Shaheen Afridi’s injury. In fact, in the current cycle of the World Test Championship, Bumrah tops the list of highest wicket-takers with 45 wickets. At the same time, Afridi has reached the second position with 41 wickets. Afridi will now hardly be able to beat Bumrah.

Pakistan had beaten Sri Lanka in the first test;-

The visiting Pakistan had defeated Sri Lanka by 4 wickets in the first Test. Babar Azam saved the team’s shame by scoring a century in the first innings.

In the second innings, 22-year-old Abdullah Shafiq won the match by chasing a record 344 runs of 160 not out. The second match is also to be played at the same ground.
