The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 has approved Sneh Rana. Rana as a replacement for Pooja Vastrakar in the India squad.
Rana has played 47 international matches including 24 T20Is. And She was named as a replacement player after Vastrakar was ruled out due to an upper respiratory tract infection.

The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the replacement player can officially add to the squad.

- Chris Tetley (Chair, ICC Head of Events)
- Russell Adams (Tournament Director)
- Snehal Pradhan (ICC Women’s Cricket Manager)
- Mike Gajjar (Cricket South Africa representative)
- Ian Bishop and Lisa Sthalekar (both independent)
