Sneh Rana is the replacement for Pooja Vastrakar in the India squad

The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 has approved Sneh Rana. Rana as a replacement for Pooja Vastrakar in the India squad.

Rana has played 47 international matches including 24 T20Is. And She was named as a replacement player after Vastrakar was ruled out due to an upper respiratory tract infection.

The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the replacement player can officially add to the squad.

The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 consists of-

• Chris Tetley (Chair, ICC Head of Events)
• Russell Adams (Tournament Director)
• Snehal Pradhan (ICC Women’s Cricket Manager)
• Mike Gajjar (Cricket South Africa representative)
• Ian Bishop and Lisa Sthalekar (both independent)
