After the death of Jagmohan Dalmiya in 2015, Ganguly took over as the president of the CAB.

The departure of 50-year-old Sourav Ganguly from the post of BCCI President has been fixed. Former cricketer Roger Binny will formally replace Sourav Ganguly on October 18.

50-year-old K Sourav Ganguly may soon retire from the post of BCCI President. Former cricketer Roger Binny will formally replace Sourav Ganguly on October 18.

Roger Binny was a member of the Indian team that won the ODI World Cup for the first time in 1983 under the captaincy of Kapil Dev.

While Roger Binny is going to be the new boss of BCCI, Jay Shah will continue as the secretary.

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has come in front of the media for the first time after leaving the BCCI. Sourav Ganguly said, ‘I was the President of the Cricket Association of Bengal for five years.

Then I was also the President of BCCI for three years. After assuming all these responsibilities I will have to go and now I will do something else.
