South Africa has named their ODI and T20I squads for the limited-overs series against the West Indies.

The 28-year-old Aiden Markram will take over as T20I captain, replacing Temba Bavuma, who resigned from the post last month.

Markram, who led the South Africa U19 team to title victory in the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2014, recently tasted title triumph as captain in the SA 20 with Sunrisers Eastern Cape.

Director of Cricket Enoch Enquay congratulated Marakkam on his appointment.
