Two-match T20I series against Ireland:-

The Proteas T20 International (T20I) team has reached Bristol ahead of the two-match T20I series against Ireland. Proteas pacer Kagiso Rabada was ruling out of the series by the Proteas medical team after reviewing an injury to his left medial ankle.

He will continue to undergo medical management and rehabilitation and his progress will be closely monitored in preparation for the upcoming three-match Test series against England later this month.

Rabada received a “left medial ankle injury review”:-

Cricket South Africa said in a statement that Rabada was not including in the squad for the two-match series following a “review of a left medial ankle injury”.

Rabada will continue his medical management and rehabilitation with a close watch on his progress in preparation for the upcoming three-Test series against England later this month.

The Proteas are on a high after a 2-1 win over England in the T20I series. The two T20 matches against Ireland will be playing at a neutral ground in Bristol, England. The first match is on Wednesday (August 3) and the second on Friday (August 5).
