Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced that Angelo Mathews is not among the 18 cricketers to sign a men’s national contract. The contract offered this time had no “deviation” from the earlier contract, which was rescinded by the players alleging lack of sight.

SLC said in a notice

“The criterion between players and the division of points to individual players was shared before the signing of the contract.”

Danushka Gunathilaka, Niroshan Dickwella, and Kusal Mendis, who are currently serving the ban, were not considered.
