If you look at the workload, you can ask them not to play some matches, but when you want to play for your country, you want to play every single match. It’s about respect.”

Gavaskar further told Sports Today, “In Rohit Sharma’s case it was corona and it can happen anytime, but I think the Indian cricket board should look at one thing that why players are getting so many hamstring injuries.” Huh.

You might get an ankle injury, or a knee injury while trying to stop the ball, but why are Indian players battling hamstring injuries? This is something the board has to look into.”
