Suryakumar reached a rating of 910 after scoring a quickfire 47 during India’s first match of the ongoing series against New Zealand in Ranchi.
Maintains healthy lead at top of T20 rankings:-
The exciting right-handed batsman maintained his healthy lead at the top of the T20I rankings for batsmen.
While Suryakumar played a more restrained knock of 26* in the second match of the series, which resulted in the 32-year-old total returning to 908 rating points.
He will have a chance to improve his record in the third and deciding match of the series to be held in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.
Helped close the gap to Pakistan skipper Babar Azam:-
It was van der Dussen who contributed a century in the series opener. And this helped close the gap on Pakistan captain Babar Azam at the top of the ODI rankings for batsmen.
