T20 World Cup 2022: The Indian cricket team will host South Africa and Australia at home ahead of the T20 World Cup to be held in October and November. The Indian team will play T20 series with these two teams before this big tournament so that they can prepare for the T20 World Cup.

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly confirmed :-
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly confirmed that Team India will host both the teams. India had lost to Pakistan and New Zealand after three consecutive group stage victories in the T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates last year and the team was knocked out of the tournament.
Sourav Ganguly, “Date not yet confirmed for T20 series” :-
Ganguly said after the Apex Council meeting of the BCCI on Thursday that the date for the T20 series against South Africa and Australia is yet to be confirmed. “We will be hosting three T20 matches each with South and Australia before leaving for the T20 World Cup.
South Africa will come to India after the conclusion of their current England tour :-
South Africa will come to India after the conclusion of their current tour of England (in September). All venues that have not got a chance to host the matches against South Africa will get a chance to host them. These include Ranchi, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Indore and Mohali.

India recently hosted South Africa :-
Sourav Ganguly: Team India recently hosted South Africa, their first assignment since IPL 2022. The five-match T20I series between the two teams ended after a 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile, the Indian team will play its first bilateral series against Australia for the first time since January 2021.
