Tata IPL 2022: BCCI released prize money for groundsman, will get Rs 1 crore 25 lakh, Cricket Board of India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah gave information by tweeting.

After the successful conduct of the IPL, prize money will be given to the venues of all the matches played in the league.

The Prize money was announced for a groundsman:-

Tata IPL 2022: BCCI Secretary Jay Shah tweeted and wrote – I am happy to announce the prize money for those who gave us the ground for the best game in Tata IPL Season 15.

Jai Shah told that prize money of Rs 1 crore 25 lakh will be giving for the stadium. This will including pitch curators and groundsmen of all 6 stadiums where matches were playing in IPL 2022.

The secretary further wrote – We witnessed the high-level matches in IPL, I thank everyone for the hard work done in each and every stadium. The secretary further explained how the prize money of Rs 1 crore 25 lakh would be distributed in the stadium.

The BCCI Secretary told:-

Tata IPL 2022: 70 matches of the group stage were holding in 4 stadiums in Maharashtra. It had Brabourne, Wankhede, MCA and DY Patil stadiums.

These 4 stadiums will be giving Rs 1 crore i.e. Rs 25-25 lakh for each stadium. Of the other 25 lakhs, half the amount will be giving for the matches in the playoffs.

Qualifier 1 and Eliminator match here:-

12.5 lakh will be for the pitch curator and groundsman of Eden Gardens. Here Qualifier 1 and Eliminator match was playing.

At the same time, Rs 12.5 lakh will be giving to the Narendra Modi Stadium. where Qualifier 2 and the final match were played.
