The Central contract was awarding for the first time:-

Three players – Tuba Hassan, Gul Firoza, and Sadaf Shamas have been given central contracts for the first time. Tuba won the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for May 2022 for her memorable debut series against Sri Lanka.

In the three-match T20I series, the leg-spinner took five wickets – the most for Pakistan in that series – and returned impressive figures of 3/8 in his first match.

The Hard Work is slowly Paying off:-

“I am absolutely thrilling and exciting to be awarding. The prestigious central contract for the first time,” Hasan said. “Hard work is slowly paying off, but this is just the beginning.

My focus remains on putting in strong performances and contributing to the success of my team, the rest I am sure will take care of itself as we have seen in this case.

“I would like to thank all my seniors, teammates, support staff, and family members who have supported me in this journey so far.

My sole aim is to play and perform for Pakistan and my team, and with the support of a strong group of people around me, I am confident that I will improve and live up to their expectations,” she said.

Three experienced players – Alia Riaz, Bismah Maroof, and Nida Dar – have been placed in Category A. Both Riyaz and Dar will be promoting from category B to A.

While Javeria Khan. who was in Category The last year has been placed in Category A. Category C was deprecating.

Ghulam Fatima (last contract in 2018-19). Iram Javed (last contract in 2016-17). And Sidra Amin (last contract in 2019-20) was awarding contracts this year.

The six players who have been dropped from the list are Kainaat Hafeez, Nahida Khan, Najiha Alvi, Ramin Shamim, Saba Nazir, and Syeda Arub Shah.
