World Cup 2023: Indian cricket team in several review meeting BCCI has Shortlists 20 players who will be part of the 2023 Men’s World Cup.
These Players will be rotated:-
In the review meeting, the BCCI has decided that these players will be rotated to ensure proper preparation before the 2023 World Cup to be held in India.

The review meeting was attended by Rahul Dravid, captain Rohit Sharma, chief selector Chetan Sharma, and NCA chief VVS Laxman.
Who brainstormed for about four hours in a hotel in Mumbai. And arrived at key decisions including giving priority to bilateral and international cricket. BCCI President Roger Binny attended the meeting through video conferencing.
A BCCI source told Cricbuzz:-
A BCCI source who attended the meeting told Cricbuzz, “It was a very constructive and productive meeting. Where we reviewed past performances and planned for future events including the World Cup and the World Test Championship (WTC). We will give priority to international cricket while ensuring that the IPL is not diluting either.
The BCCI issued a statement saying- “The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) convened a review meeting of Team India (Senior Men) in Mumbai on Sunday.
The meeting was attending BCCI President Mr. Roger Binny, Honorary Secretary Mr. Jay Shah, Indian Captain Mr. Rohit Sharma, Head Coach of Team India (Senior Men) Mr. Rahul Dravid, Head of Cricket (NCA) Mr. VVS Laxman and Chairman Senior Men’s Selection Committee Mr. Chetan Sharma participated.”
The roadmap for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 as well as issues of player availability, and workload management. And fitness parameters were discussing in detail during the meeting.

Main decisions are taking in the review meeting:-
- Emerging players have to play enough domestic seasons to be eligible for selection in the national team.
- The yo-yo test and DEXA will now be part of the selection criteria. And will be implementing in the customized roadmap for the central pool of players.
- Keeping in mind the preparations for the Men’s FTP and ICC CWC 2023. The NCA along with the IPL franchises will monitor the Indian players participating in IPL 2023.
