IPL 2024: BCCI sells four sponsorship slots for Rs 1,485 crore. The first match of the IPL will be played on March 22 between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers in Chennai.

BCCI Has Sold 4 Sponsorships For Rs 1,485 Crore:-

BCCI has released the schedule of the first phase, which is of 21 matches till April 7. Before this, BCCI has sold 4 sponsorships for Rs 1,485 crore.

Secured Sponsorship Slot For Indian Premier League (IPL):-

My11Circle, RuPay, Angel One and CEAT have secured sponsorship slots for the Indian Premier League (IPL) for a cumulative amount of ₹1,485 crores, people familiar with the development told The Economic Times.

Three of these four companies have bid for a five-year deal till 2028 while RuPay has bid for a three-year deal ending in 2026. The bids were submitted to BCCI on Wednesday.

Strategic Timeout Partnership Retained For 5 Years:-

Tire manufacturer CEAT has retained the strategic timeout partnership for 5 years with a bid of Rs 240 crore, the report said.

Whereas there were no bidders for the Orange Cap and Purple Cap and umpire partnership.

My11Circle became the IPL associate sponsor in the fantasy sports category by defeating Dream11 with a successful bid of Rs 625 crore. Dream11 bid Rs 515 crore.
