The BCCI will discuss the return of Indian cricket team batsmen Rohit-Virat in T20. In such a situation, both the giants are walking away from T20 cricket.

However, now he is missing because Team India has lost two consecutive T20 matches against the West Indies.
At the same time, discussion has started on the return of Virat and Rohit in T20. The Board of Control for Cricket in India is yet to decide with the selectors whether senior superstars including Virat Kohli will return to T20 cricket.
The Expressed his desire to Play in this mega-event:-
The upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 is to be held in the USA and West Indies, for which Rohit Sharma himself has expressed his desire to play in this mega event.
However, the Ajit Agarkar-led BCCI selection committee will discuss the matter with Rohit Sharma after the ODI World Cup 2023 before taking a final call. At the same time, a BCCI official has also spoken to Sport.
A senior BCCI official told Sport that “It is the ODI World Cup year and hence Rohit and Virat are focusing on the ODIs.
Will he stay in the draft or will the selectors have other ideas
This is not the time to discuss whether they will play T20 or T20 World Cup. Ajit is there and he will talk to both Rohit and Virat about whether they will continue in the format or the selectors have other ideas.”
The BCCI official further said that “Again, there is no point in discussing whether Rohit will come back to lead the T20 team.
At present, he is not available for the T20 selection. He has not been removed or retired. He returns as a player or captain or does not return at all.

It will depend on the discussion. For us, Rohit and Virat are still active players in all three formats.
