IND vs ENG 4th Test Series 2024: The Career Of India’s Star Batsmen Ishan Kishan And Shreyas Iyer in Danger. Amidst the Test series being played between India and England, difficulties have increased significantly for India’s star batsmen Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer.

The central contract of these two players with BCCI can be canceled. A report regarding both players came out on Friday.

In the same report, it is claimed that the central contracts of Ishaan and Shreyas may be canceled. If this happens then the cricket career of the players may be in danger. Let us tell you what is the whole matter.

The Players Did Not Listen To BCCI:-

India’s star batsmen Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer are accused of repeatedly ignoring BCCI’s warnings. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah had recently issued a warning saying that the main basis of selection in Team India will be domestic cricket i.e. Ranji Trophy and not IPL.

Therefore, if players want to play for Team India, they will have to perform well in the Ranji Trophy.

Even before the BCCI Secretary, Indian team head coach Rahul Dravid had said that if Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer wanted to play for the Indian team, then they would have to prove that they were fit by playing the Ranji Trophy. Despite repeated warnings to both the players, no one listened.

‘Iyer Made A False Excuse’:-

Ishan Kishan had withdrawn his name from the South Africa tour, after which the player is being asked to play Ranji Trophy, but he is busy practicing to play IPL. The player did not listen to anyone.

Apart from this, Shreyas Iyer was also dropped from the third Test match against England. After this, he was advised to play Ranji Trophy, but Iyer also did not respect the BCCI’s order. The player withdrew his name from the quarter-finals of the Ranji Trophy citing injury.

The Central Contract Will Be Made Public Soon:-

Later NCA released a report, in which it was told that Shreyas Iyer is fit. Nothing has happened to him, yet he has withdrawn his name from Ranji Trophy.

Keeping these things in mind, BCCI can cancel the central contracts of these two players. Under the leadership of team selector Ajit Agarkar, the file of the central contract has been prepared between the players and BCCI for the years 2023-24.
