Criticized MS Dhoni for Calling Shots for CSK Team MS Dhoni may have handed over the captaincy of Chennai Super Kings to Ravindra Jadeja but he still seems to be calling the shots for the team.

Dhoni changed the fielding position:-

During Thursday’s match against Lucknow Super Giants, TV cameras showed Dhoni altering fielding positions while Ravindra Jadeja was present on the field.

Reacting to the development, former India batsman Ajay Jadeja attacked Dhoni for controlling CSK’s decisions and said that it would badly affect the confidence of the newly appointed captain.

Ajay Jadeja said that it was Dhoni’s decision to step down as captain and if he had decided to leave, he should have given Ravindra Jadeja more freedom to learn.

Confidence has taken a big hit:-

“Leave someone leading you forward, you have taken that person behind. The confidence of that person (Ravindra Jadeja) has suffered a major setback. He was not in the play, neither in the beginning nor in the end,” 51-year-old Cricbuzz had said.

Jadeja said that if it was a do-or-die match for CSK, Dhoni’s determination to take over the reins would still be understandable but nothing was expected of him, it is only the second game in the tournament.

Jadeja said, “MS Dhoni is a big name, I do not like to talk like this but we are talking about the game here, so there is no doubt in my mind, what I saw today, I do not like Came.”

CSK have lost both their matches so Far:-

Apart from setting a target of 211 runs in the first innings, the team suffered a loss against LSG in their last outing.

At one point, CSK were on their way to victory with 34 for the defense in the last 12 balls.

However, things changed drastically after Shivam Dube conceded 25 runs in the last over. LSG eventually sealed the match with three balls to spare.
