In the post-match press conference, Ravindra Jadeja expressed regret over Deepak Chahar’s absence. At the same time, he also said that the return of the Indian fast bowler to the team will strengthen the team.

A Struggling to Get Fit in NCA:-

Rajasthan’s Deepak Chahar is struggling to get fit at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. He may get discharging from NCA after two weeks. After that, they will join the team.

Deepak Chahar can play in the match against Punjab Kings on 25 April. Till then, Chennai will have to play five matches without him.

On one hand, Chahar is unfit and on the other hand, two other Chennai bowlers are also not completely well. Adam Milne and Chris Jordan are battling fitness issues.
