The Delhi Capitals Team Launches New Jersey Before WPL 2024

WPL 2024: The Delhi Capitals launches new jersey ahead of WPL 2024. Delhi Capitals on Friday unveiled the jersey of its women’s team for the second edition of the Women’s Premier League. Most of the players of the team were present at this event.

Mumbai Indians Will Be in Bangalore Stadium:-

The second edition of the Women’s Premier League begins next Friday. The first match is of Delhi Capitals only, they will face Mumbai Indians in Bangalore stadium.

Preparations for all the teams have started, and foreign players have also joined their teams and started practicing.

The first match of the Women’s Premier League 2024 will be played between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians on 23 February. Before this, an opening ceremony may take place. A total of 5 teams will play in the Women’s Premier League.

Delhi Capitals Will Hope For A Better Performance This Time:-

Delhi Capitals will be hoping for a better performance this time after falling short at the final hurdle against Mumbai Indians. This time due to the tournament being played in Bengaluru and Delhi, Delhi Capitals will have a chance to play in front of their home crowd.

Barring a few changes, most of the Delhi team remains the same, including Australian all-rounder Annabel Sutherland, who scored her first double-century in Tests against South Africa on Friday, February 16.

The Capitals will open the tournament against the defending champions in a repeat of the 2023 final at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday, February 23. The first 11 games will be held in Garden City, followed by the remaining 11 including the eliminator. And the final in Delhi.
