Pakistan Cricket Team: Despite back injury, Babar Azam bowed to the pressure of PCB. Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam who has performed well in the current Bangladesh Premier League (BPL 2024).

He was recently forced to play the fifth T20 match against New Zealand despite suffering a back injury. According to a report in Cricket Pakistan, the team management wanted Babar to play in the match.

To Avoid That, It Is Necessary To Have Babar in The Last Match:-

Pakistan had already lost the series against New Zealand, but the management was afraid of a clean sweep and to avoid that, Babar needed to be there in the last match also.

As far as his performance in that particular match is concerned, he scored only 24 runs in 13 balls and also dropped one catch.

Babar Did Not Even Field For Half The Innings:-

Apart from this, when Pakistan bowled, Babar did not even field for half the innings. But despite such performances, the Pakistan team registered a massive 42-run win to avoid a 0-5 defeat in the series.
