English County Cricket Club Gloucestershire has signed a three-match deal with former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir.

Amir will return to the Field after two years:-

Mohammad Amir will return to the field after two years of retirement, 30-year-old Amir has played 36 Tests, 61 One Day Internationals, and 50 T20Is.

He will be available in County Championship matches for Gloucestershire against Surrey, Hampshire, and Somerset.

Amir will join Gloucestershire for fellow Pakistani bowler Naseem Shah, who has been out of action until next month due to a shoulder injury.

Amir said, “The County Championship is an amazing competition and now I can’t wait to go with Gloucestershire.

I love playing in English conditions and I am feeling really well, so I hope I can do well for the team.”

Gloucestershire Performance Director Steve Snell said: “We are delighting to have signed a bowler of Amir’s caliber.

We will Cooperate to be Fully Fit:-

Sadly, we will be playing without Naseem for a few weeks due to injury. And as long as we support him to be fully fitting. And Amir will giving us that opportunity in his place.

Our fast bowling attack has quality with international experience for a strong first-class competition.”

He further added, “Aamir fits exactly what we expected and we are confident that he will be a great option in the team for those three matches.
