Ismail won 3/16 and the Player of the Match award in the opening game of the series and then backed him up with three wickets in the second match.

But it was in the third and final game of the series that the fast right-arm pacer really stood out as he claimed a second career five-wicket haul in one-day cricket and 5/8 in another major individual performance. Amazing figures were claimed.

It was no surprise that South Africa won the series 3–0 and Ismail claimed the Player of the Series award.

Marizanne Kapp of South Africa:-

While Ismail was dominating the white ball, his countryman was doing the same against England in a spirited red ball competition in Taunton.

And while Kapp is more famous for his exploits with the ball these days, the multi-talented 32-year-old became the brightest with the bat during one-off Tests.

Kapp scored 150 of South Africa’s 284 runs during the first innings, which remained steady throughout, while her teammates produced one of the best innings they have seen in women’s Test cricket.

But it wasn’t just in the first innings that Kapp performed as a stylish right-handed batsman. With a similarly stellar performance with an unbeaten 43 during the second innings to help the Proteas draw well in the rain. Can be organized- Affected competition.
