Pakistan Cricket Overhaul: The PCB Chief Najam Sethi made Haroon Rashid the Chief Selector. The upheaval in Pakistan cricket is not taking its name.
Afridi takes over as chief selector:-
Former Pakistan player Shahid Afridi has left the post of Chief Selector. Shahid Afridi had just completed one month after taking over as the Chief Selector.

In his place, PCB chairman Najam Sethi has appointed Haroon Rasheed as the chief selector.
A selection committee was constituted under the chairmanship:-
After the sacking of Rameez Raja, Najam Sethi was handing over the reins of PCB chairman. Who formed the interim selection committee under the chairmanship of Shahid Afridi.
Afridi was assigning this job for the series against New Zealand. But had to leave his post after the series. After which now this post has been assigning to Haroon Rashid in his place.
Haroon Rashid is a former Pakistan batsman. He has played 23 Test matches for Pakistan in which he has scored 1217 runs while in 12 ODIs he has scored 166 runs.
Rashid former Pakistan batsman:-
He played cricket for Pakistan from 1977 to 1983. At the same time, Haroon has also been the director and manager of cricket operations of PCB.
Haroon was earlier the convener of this committee and has now been made a member of the selection committee. He has also previously been a part of the selection committee in 2016, when he selected the team for the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup.

At the same time, Pakistan has to play its next T20 series against Afghanistan, in which the responsibility of selecting the team will be in the hands of Haroon Rashid.
