ILT20 League 2024: The Super-Sub rule is going to be implemented in UAE’s ILT20 league. This new rule will also be implemented on the impact player line of IPL.
This Has Been Added To The Updated Rules Of ILT20:-
However, this rule of this UAE league is somewhat different from the rules of IPL. This has been added to the recently updated rules of ILT20.

The Super-Sub rule will be implementing from the second season of ILT20. According to the report of ESPN Cricinfo, this rule will be used from the second season of the league starting from January 13 in the coming year. In which, like the impact player of IPL, any player can be fielded on the substitute line.
A Set Of Seven Names Will Have To Be Given Separately From The Playing 11:-
For Super-Sub, teams will have to give a set of seven names separate from the playing 11 immediately after the toss. Teams can field any one player as Super-Sub from these seven names given by them.
However, a player sent out as a substitute cannot return to the game, as is the case with the IPL’s Impact Player rule.
In ILT20, a team can implement Super-Sub at any time after the first over of the match or at the beginning of the second innings. During this time, the condition has been kept that according to the rules of the league, two players from UAE should remain part of the playing 11.
The 9 Foreign Players Can Be Including in The Playing 11:-
In ILT20, 9 foreign players along with two UAE players can be including in the playing 11. In such a situation, if the Super-Sub is a UAE player then he can only take the place of a foreign or UAE player.
According to the rules, the batting team can take Super-Sub after the completion of one over. Fall of the wicket, and if the batsman gets injuring or retires. However, if a Super-Sub is using in place of the retired batsman, it will be considered a wicket.

Apart from this, the bowling team can get Super-Sub if the wicket falls. But the player will not be allowing to complete the incomplete over. Whereas the new player who has come as Super-Sub can bowl his entire overs.
