The Statue Of Great Batsman Sachin Tendulkar Unveiled At Wankhede Stadium
ICC ODI World Cup 2023: The statue of legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar was unveiled at the Wankhede Stadium. The moment everyone was eagerly waiting for has finally arrived. Sachin Tendulkar’s statue was unveiled at the prestigious Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Dulquer’s Statue Showed Him Playing One Of His Prestigious Shots:-
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah, BCCI Treasurer Ashish Shelar, and Sachin Tendulkar were present at Wankhede Stadium to unveil the statue yesterday.

The statue of Sachin Tendulkar depicts him playing one of his prestigious shots and is placed next to the Sachin Tendulkar Stand.
This statue was created by Painter and Sculptor Pramod Kamble from the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. Tendulkar was present with his wife Anjali and daughter Sara during the ceremony.
Became The First Indian Player To Install His Wax Statue:-
In 2009, when Tendulkar turned 36, he became the first Indian player to have his wax statue installed at the famous Madame Tussauds.
Sachin Tendulkar is widely regarding as one of the game’s greatest batsmen, retiring as the greatest batsman in international history.
The legendary Indian player had said goodbye to his cricket career on this very ground. This was also the 200th test match of his test career.
India Was Successful in Winning This Match By 126 Runs:-
In this match, he played an excellent half-century of 74 runs against West Indies and India was successful in winning this match by 126 runs.
While bowling, he managed to take 46 wickets in 145 innings of Test, 154 wickets in 270 innings of ODI at an average of 44.48, and one wicket in one inning of T20.

Tendulkar’s statue was installing at his home ground Wankhede Stadium, for almost 10 years. He playing his last match for India here in the two-match Test series against West Indies in November 2013.
