The Sydney Sixers Biggest Stars will be On Show When The First Edition Of The WPL 2023. The first-place team at the conclusion of the regular season will advance directly to the finals.

Five teams in the inaugural season of WPL:-

The inaugural season of the WPL will see five teams (Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Giants, Delhi Capitals, and UP Warriors) participate in a 22-game season, with each team playing each other twice.

while the second and third-placed teams would qualify for the eliminator, with the winner earning the remaining spot in the decider.

The competition will begin on Saturday 4 March with Mumbai Indians taking on Gujarat Giants, with the final taking place on Sunday 26 March.

Charlotte Edwards’ Mumbai Indians will square off against Rachael Haynes’ Gujarat Giants to open the inaugural season of the WPL.

Sixers spin sisters Ash Gardner and Sophie Ecclestone will lock horns at the DY Patil Stadium.
