ACC Chief and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah will also go to Bali. Now, two days before this meeting, information regarding the format of the upcoming Asia Cup and its host has started coming out.
According to a report by Cricbuzz, Asia Cup 2025 will be in T20 format. Whereas UAE and Oman can get hosting rights.

It was reported in this report that ACC can decide on the next Asia Cup in its annual meeting. However, according to the information received by Cricbuzz, this tournament can be played in T20 format.
Whereas, let us tell you that UAE and Oman can get the hosting of this tournament. It is noteworthy that the last Asia Cup was played in the ODI format in Pakistan and Sri Lanka on the hybrid model. 6 teams took part in it.
When is The Next World T20 After Asia Cup?
Let us tell you that the Asia Cup has started being held once based on the ODI format and once based on the T20 format. One basis for this is that after the Asia Cup, when the next World Cup T20 is held, it is held in T20 format.
Whereas when this tournament was held before the ODI World Cup 2023, it was held in the ODI format. Before the 2019 World Cup, the ODI Asia Cup was also held in 2018. For this reason, considering the T20 World Cup to be held in 2026, this tournament can be held in T20 format only.
But there is still confusion regarding this. That is whether the tournament can be given to Associate Members or not. According to Claus, it should be organized only in a full-member Asian country.
