This love story is of Dinesh Karthik and Deepika Pallikal. Deepika Pallikal herself is a star squash player. Deepika herself narrated the story of her first meeting with Dinesh Karthik in an interview. Deepika told in the show ‘Misfield’, ‘My mother already knew Dinesh Karthik because she runs a travel agency.
Karthik Sent 5-6 Such Messages in A Few Days:-
One day suddenly I got a message from Dinesh asking me to go for dinner.’ Deepika says that Dinesh Karthik sent 5-6 such messages within a span of a few days and every time she avoided it by making some excuse or the other. Like I’m out of town or something.
Deepika further says, ‘One day a message came from Dinesh asking us to meet when we are in Chennai. So I replied that I am here today only. I am going to Australia tomorrow morning. After this, when I reached the gym at 6 am the next morning, I was surprised to see that Dinesh Karthik was already there.
I know that Dinesh had come there to see me because he never went to the gym at 6 in the morning. As soon as he met me he asked me what happened. Did you miss the flight? I again made the excuse that I was sick.
Deepika says, ‘On the same day, once again a message came from Dinesh asking when are you going to Australia. So I felt that now I would have to meet this person once. Let me meet once so that I don’t have to meet again. I replied that I had to go to the gym and practice the whole day tomorrow. I am free at 7 in the morning. I thought he would not want to meet at seven in the morning. But DK replied that he would be in the gym at 7 o’clock.
The Intention Was To Go For An Hour But We Kept Talking For 4 Hours:-
Deepika says that the next day they went for breakfast at 7 in the morning. The intention was to go for an hour but we kept talking for 4 hours. After this DK himself asked not to go for practice. Then he asked DK what time it was. After this, both met again on the same day.
Deepika says that she felt that there was no need to meet further. But after a few days, DK reached England, where Deepika Pallakil was participating in a tournament.
Deepika Pallikal and Dinesh Karthik returned together by flight after meeting for two days in England. But he missed his flight to Dubai. After this, while spending time in Dubai, both of them decided that they should get married, and after this Dinesh Karthik met Deepika’s mother. We all know the further story.
